Course description
Mental skills 1 is a university-level module that introduces the key concepts and practices of mental coaching. During the course, you will explore the fundamentals of mental skills, develop your own thinking and coaching expertise, and build your ability to apply theory in your own work. At the same time, you will get a taste of university studies in a safe, guided learning environment.
The course is particularly suitable for sport and exercise professionals, coaches, instructors and anyone else interested in the topic who wants to strengthen their expertise in applying mental skills in practical work.
The course is delivered in cooperation with the University of Jyväskylä Open University and combines an online course with guided
contact teaching from Three-Campus Sports Academy. The small-group format supports learning, gives you the chance to discuss and helps you put what you have learned into practice.
