On the course, you will learn how to plan nutrition coaching and how to develop an athlete&#8217;s eating habits. The nutrition plan takes into account the different needs of training, competition and rest days.<\/p>\n<p>You will learn to support athletes in putting their nutrition plan into practice and to evaluate the success of the process using feedback from the athlete and your own self-reflection. The course is delivered as blended learning, combining online teaching, face-to-face teaching, independent study and use of the VK-Kustannus e-library.<\/p>\n<h3>Who is it for?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>People working in physical activity, sport and coaching<\/li>\n<li>Sports and fitness entrepreneurs<\/li>\n<li>Students on the Further Vocational Qualification in Sports and Coaching<\/li>\n<li>Anyone who wants to develop their skills in sports nutrition and nutrition coaching for athletes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>There are two ways to take part in the course<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Attend the teaching<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can take part in the course without being enrolled as a qualification student. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of participation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Complete a qualification unit<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can complete the <em>Sports nutrition for athletes, 15 osp<\/em> unit of the Further Vocational Qualification in Sports and Coaching. Completing the unit requires a personal competence development plan (HOKS) and a demonstration of competence.
